An estimated band is useful only when you can see what shaped it. IELTS Writing Checker scores the response on the zero to nine practice scale, then separates Task Achievement or Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy. Compare the four criterion estimates and open the written rationale beneath each one. A stronger Task Response score may show that your position is clear, while a lower Coherence score can point to paragraph order or weak links between ideas. Saved evaluations help you see whether the same criterion keeps limiting later responses. This is a practice estimate, not an official IELTS result or a guaranteed prediction. Use the breakdown to choose the next skill to practise.
